Interesting Poem: “Patience, I’m giving up” by Tayoluyis

I listened to your echoes as a hunter focuses to the soft of the birds
The journey you took me on, gracefully, endured I, these years
When I cried and it rained like hell, you kissed my tears,
My close friend you became in distrust and melt my fears.

I took to your wheels of hope as you tugged me on and on
I staggered, yet you smiled and said “stand your ground C’mon”
I wandered through the wilderness and all you did was watch
As I rise and fall to the tune of the melancholic notch

Patience

When I cried and it rained like hell, you kissed my tears,
My close friend you became in distrust and melt my fears…

So don’t judge me if I couldn’t bear the whips no longer
Rather, applaud me for being a listener this farther
I’ve packed my bags and I’m going far away
Thank you patience but now you’re just my yesterday.
