UI Graduate bags record deal worth millions from a UK based Company
It is said that once a man is known, recognized, and appreciated for one thing he does well, with persistency and consistent innovations, he would get to the top.
This is the case of a graduate of the University of Ibadan who bagged a record deal worth millions of Naira from an entertainment company that is based in the United Kingdom (UK).
With joy and excitement, the up-and-coming Nigerian musician; Young Oche, took to his social media page to break the good news to his friends, fans, and families.
On his Facebook Page, he wrote:
Guess who just got signed up with a car?
For those who do not know Young Oche, he was a student of the University of Ibadan (UI) and during his undergraduate studies, he was widely loved by many for his sonorous voice and vocal capacitance.
The young star enjoyed a lot of fame during his stay on campus and when he finally graduated from the first and best University; UI, he didn’t quit what he loved doing; singing.
Young Oche used to do a medley of songs of popular Nigerian singers and a few months ago, one of his medleys was posted on Instagram by Tunde Ednut, which also helped to boost his popularity.
Young Oche was one of the winners of the 2Baba #NextUp challenge and this gave him the rare opportunity to be on tour with the iconic 2Baba. More so, he was part of the Tboiz who featured 2Baba on the track “Falling For Me”.
The young star has also been pictured with other famous Nigerian celebrities like 9ice, Mi, Akporpro, and a host of others. Definitely, he must be living up to his dream.
We say a big congratulations to the young star and we’re glad that the University of Ibadan is about to produce another “hot” musician. Watch out!!!
